Golf Course Rules
Like every golf course, The Groves Golf and Country Club has certain rules and requirements for golfing. Please see the list below as it highlights our more notable rules. Most of these rules are also listed on our scorecard.

- Golf Attire/Dress Code.
- Proper attire is required during the use of the golf course.
- Men’s Attire: shall consist of slacks, shorts, traditional collared shirts, and wide blade collared golf shirts.
- Women’s attire: shall consist of slacks, shorts, skirts, traditional collared shirts, wide-bladed collared shirts, or proper golf sportswear.

- Ladies’ shirts without collars must have sleeves.

- Denim, tank tops, swimwear, and short shorts are not permitted.
- The Pro Shop has the final say on proper attire.
- T-shirts may be worn only on the driving range and putting green.
- Proper attire is required during the use of the golf course.
- Any person who rents (operates) a club-owned or leased golf cart from The Groves HOA or uses a privately-owned golf cart:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a driver’s license (not permit).
- Only 2 people are allowed in a club-owned or leased cart, regardless of age.
- An adult (21+) must accompany any golfer under the age of 16.
- Each player must have their own set of clubs.
- Rental Clubs can be rented from the Pro Shop. Click HERE to see current rental club rates.
- Hitting multiple golf balls on the course for the purpose of practice is not permitted.
- Advance Tee Times:
- Groves Annual Members may make tee times 14 days in advance.
- Groves Residents may make tee times 10 days in advance.
- The general public, without membership, may make tee times 7 days in advance.
- Fishing on any part of the golf course is not permitted during golf course operation.
- Playing without a cart (walking) is not permitted until after 3 PM or when the Pro Shop deems acceptable.
